Welcome to THE

FOOT FORWARD FOUNDATION

ONE PAIR A TIME

Our Mission: Is to put our best foot forward for those in need and left behind.

What We Do: We send donated shoes to Zimbabwe to help those in need, we also buy new shoes in Zimbabwe with funds raised, ensuring that everyone has access to quality footwear. While our primary focus is on shoes, we plan to expand to clothing and other essential apparel items over time. Beyond footwear, we are also committed to empowering individuals through education and entrepreneurship. The Foot Forward Award Fund provides tuition and board assistance for students in Zimbabwe, helping them pursue their education with less financial barriers. Additionally, we support aspiring entrepreneurs by offering starter funds to help launch small businesses, creating opportunities for self-sufficiency and economic growth. Through shoes, education, and entrepreneurship, we strive to create lasting change—one step at a time!

Why: My wife and I went to Zimbabwe, my home country, on our honeymoon and visited some of the rural areas and saw many children walking around, to school and other areas barefoot. Seeing the state of poverty and the way people were getting around was heartbreaking for us. We thought to ourselves there has to be something we can do to help in general and that's when it came to mind. I am from Zim and shoes are some of our favorite things so we decided to start there.

SPREAD THE WORD

"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me....

Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."

Matthew 25: 35, 40
